Business, Foundation and Nonprofit Experience
Philanthropic Intelligence founders Kristin Majeska and Catalina Parra have been helping US and European nonprofit and business leaders answer their most important strategic questions for twenty years. MBAs from IESE and Stanford, both women were Principals in Mercer Management Consulting’s Madrid office (Kristin also worked in the DC and San Francisco offices.)
Working with philanthropic families, corporations and individuals, Kristin created and grew Common Good Ventures, an early US venture philanthropy foundation, to channel philanthropic dollars and management support to nonprofits with extraordinary potential to improve the lives of disadvantaged people. She recently guided the strategy of Fundación SeRES, a foundation that promotes innovation in corporate social responsibility among Spain´s leading companies.
Catalina co-founded Spain´s award winning Fundación Hazloposible and, after leaving Mercer, she ran Fundación Tomillo, a large and innovative social service agency in Madrid. She is trained as a Coach and currently teaches nonprofit management at Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
